He completed his education at the Tallinn State Conservatory, earning a degree from the Performing Arts Department in 1982. Lepik began his professional journey at Ugala Theatre, where he dedicated himself from 1982 until 1994 and then returned for a second stint from 1995 to 2000. His talent further flourished during his tenure at Endla Theatre from 2000 to 2003.
