Ronan Patrick John Keating, born on March 3, 1977, is a multifaceted Irish artist celebrated for his contributions as a singer, songwriter, actor, and television and radio presenter. He first gained prominence in 1993 as a co-lead singer of the iconic pop group Boyzone, alongside members Keith Duffy, Michael Graham, Shane Lynch, and Stephen Gately. Keating's solo career took off in 1999, and he has since released eleven albums, most notably achieving international fame with the hit single "When You Say Nothing At All," featured in the film Notting Hill, which topped charts globally.

As a solo artist, Keating has sold over 20 million records, complementing the 25 million he achieved with Boyzone. He has become a familiar face in Australia, known for his roles as a judge on All Together Now, The X Factor, and as a coach on The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK. He currently hosts a breakfast show on Magic Radio.

Beyond his music career, Keating is dedicated to philanthropy, actively supporting the Marie Keating Foundation, which raises breast cancer awareness in memory of his mother, who passed away from the disease in 1998.

Ronan grew up in Kilbarrack, Dublin, and was the youngest of five siblings. He competed in athletics, winning the All Ireland under-13 200m title. In 1998, he married Yvonne Connolly and they have three children together, though the couple later divorced following personal challenges.
