**Biography of Robert DeMeo**

Robert DeMeo, originally named Jessie Robert DeMeo, was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent his childhood in Rosedale, Queens, as the son of Aldo and Amelia DeMeo. In 1969, his family relocated to Florida, where he began to cultivate his artistic talents. While studying at Broward Community College, he found his passion for music, performing with the well-known South Florida rock band, Latifundia. He later completed his education at the University of Michigan in 1972.

In 1982, DeMeo made a significant change by moving to Los Angeles and adopting the name Jessie Eastland. His career took a pivotal turn when he was invited to act in the film *Sometimes Aunt Martha Does Dreadful Things* (1971) while he was still in Florida, marking his sole acting credit in the entertainment world.

Transitioning to a focus on photography, Eastland gained recognition in Hollywood as a glamour photographer, capturing striking live action stills. Over the years, he expanded his portfolio to include nature photography, contributing to platforms like Wikipedia and Skytrek.life. In addition to his visual art, he continues to express himself through music, writing, and releasing his own recordings.
