Christie Brinkley
Christie Lee Brinkley, born on February 2, 1954, in Monroe, Michigan, is a multifaceted American talent known for her illustrious career as a model, actress, illustrator, television personality, author, photographer, designer, and activist. The daughter of Marjorie Bowling and Herbert Hudson, Christie’s early life took a turn when her mother married television writer Donald Brinkley in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Donald adopted Christie and her brother Greg, and the family resided in Malibu and Brentwood. She received her education at Paul Revere Junior High School and later attended Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles from grades 9 to 12.
After graduating in 1972, Brinkley ventured to Paris to pursue her passion for art. Her breakthrough as a model came when she graced the covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for three consecutive years (1979-1981), a feat that solidified her status in the fashion industry. Over her career, she became the face of CoverGirl for 25 years, adorned more than 500 magazine covers, and collaborated with numerous prestigious brands.
