Jesse Lee Peterson
Jesse Lee Peterson, born on May 22, 1949, is a prominent American radio and television host, as well as a political commentator. Since 1991, he has served as the president of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND), which he founded as a non-profit aimed initially at young Black men but has since expanded to include men of all backgrounds. Peterson's early life in Midway, Alabama, was marked by the influence of his grandparents, who worked on the same plantation where his ancestors were enslaved. After moving to Gary, Indiana, to live with his mother and stepfather, he briefly attended Edison High School before returning to Alabama to complete his education.
In 1989, Peterson launched his own janitorial business, paving the way for his future endeavors. He briefly studied at Los Angeles City College before fully immersing himself in activism and commentary. He is an outspoken member of Choose Black America, a group advocating against illegal immigration. Peterson has hosted annual events, including the "National Day of Repudiation of Jesse Jackson," and has made headlines with controversial statements about voting rights and social issues.
Throughout his career, he has authored four books, including 'From Rage to Responsibility' (2000) and 'The ANTIDOTE' (2015). His daily show, accessible via his website and YouTube channel, showcases his views and discussions on contemporary social and political matters. Peterson continues to be a polarizing figure in American discourse, known for his provocative opinions and steadfast beliefs.
