Craig Reucassel
Craig Reucassel is a prominent Australian comedian known for his work in television and radio, particularly as a key member of the satirical comedy group, The Chaser. Born on January 1, 1977, in South Africa, he moved to Adelaide with his family, where he attended Semaphore Park Primary School. He later continued his education at Bowral Public School and Bowral High School in New South Wales, distinguishing himself as the only member of The Chaser with a public school background.
Reucassel gained significant recognition as the host of the Australian adaptation of "Balls of Steel," which debuted in April 2011. In 2013, he took on a major role alongside Julian Morrow as co-presenter of the ABC's consumer affairs program, "The Checkout." His commitment to raising awareness about environmental issues led to the creation of the impactful four-part series "War on Waste" in 2017, which addressed the challenges of food and clothing waste in Australia. This project was followed by "Fight For Planet A: Our Climate Challenge" in 2018, focusing on the detrimental effects of plastic waste.
