Jada Pinkett Smith

Jada Koren Pinkett Smith is a multifaceted American actress, singer-songwriter, and entrepreneur. She embarked on her professional journey in 1990 with a guest role in the short-lived sitcom True Colors. Following this, she gained recognition for her performance in the series A Different World, created by Bill Cosby, and appeared alongside Eddie Murphy in the 1996 film The Nutty Professor. Pinkett Smith's filmography includes notable dramatic roles in movies such as Menace II Society (1993) and Set It Off (1996). Over her career, she has featured in more than 20 films across a wide array of genres, including Scream 2, Ali, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, and the Madagascar series.

In 2002, she ventured into music by co-founding the metal band Wicked Wisdom, where she serves as the lead vocalist and songwriter. Additionally, she established her own production company and authored a book released in 2004. Jada married rapper and actor Will Smith in 1997, and together they have two children, Jaden and Willow. Pinkett Smith is also the stepmother to Will's son, Willard "Trey" Smith III, from a previous relationship. Together, they founded the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting inner-city youth and families, collaborating with various non-profit entities like YouthBuild and the Lupus Foundation of America.
