Jonathan Baker
Jonathan Baker has long been captivated by the art of storytelling and the allure of iconic personalities, drawing inspiration from literary giants like Ernest Hemingway. This passion shaped his journey as a writer, producer, director, and adventurer. Jonathan honed his craft while studying film in his hometown of New York City and later at USC. He launched his entertainment career with notable projects, including "Through Scavullo's Eyes," a documentary for Warner Bros. that delves into the life of the provocative fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo; the comedic sports parody "Dorf on Golf" featuring Tim Conway; and "Dirty Tennis," a comedy starring Dick Van Patten, Nicolette Sheridan, and Bruce Jenner, which aired on HBO and Cinemax and garnered accolades such as the VSDA and Best Comedy Video of the Year from the New York Film Festival.
In addition to his film endeavors, Jonathan is a savvy entrepreneur. He successfully transformed his start-up venture, SkinSpa, into the premier full-service day spa in the United States before its sale in 2011. As he continues to focus on Baker Entertainment Group and his evolving role as a film director, he remains active in the personal care industry. He is currently launching a new signature line, Jonathan Baker EST 1962, featuring an array of pure aromatherapy products, with plans for a men's casual clothing line on the horizon.
