Blake Tollison Shelton, born on June 18, 1976, is a prominent American country music artist, songwriter, and television figure. He burst onto the music scene in 2001 with his debut single "Austin," which was the leading track from his self-titled first album. This single achieved remarkable success, reigning at the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for five consecutive weeks. His debut album, later certified Platinum, also featured two additional top 20 hits, "All Over Me" and "Ol' Red." Initially signed with Giant Records Nashville, he transitioned to Warner Bros. Records Nashville after Giant's closure in late 2001.

Shelton's subsequent albums, including 2003's The Dreamer and 2004's Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill, attained gold and platinum status respectively. His 2007 album, Pure BS, was later re-released with a cover of Michael Bublé's "Home" added as a bonus track. He continued to release music, including the November 2008 album Startin' Fires, followed by the EPs Hillbilly Bone and All About Tonight in 2010, and a series of albums leading up to If I'm Honest in 2016. By June 2017, Shelton had achieved 33 charted singles, with an impressive 24 reaching number one, including a record-setting streak of 17 consecutive number ones.

In addition to his music career, Shelton has gained fame as a judge on popular singing competitions such as Nashville Star, Clash of the Choirs, and The Voice, where he has been a staple since the show began and has seen his team members win six times across various seasons. From 2011 to 2015, he was married to fellow singer Miranda Lambert. Shelton has also received seven Grammy Award nominations throughout his career.
