Tia Mowry
Tia Dashon Mowry, born on July 6, 1978, is a prominent American actress celebrated for her versatile performances in film and television. She rose to fame as Tia Landry in the beloved sitcom "Sister, Sister," which aired from 1994 to 1999 alongside her twin sister Tamera Mowry. Their on-screen chemistry led to collaborations in the Disney Channel Original Movies "Twitches" (2005) and its sequel "Twitches Too" (2007), as well as the fantasy comedy "Seventeen Again" (2000). The duo also lent their voices to the LaBelle sisters in the animated series "Detention" (1999–2000) and starred in their own reality show, "Tia & Tamera," from 2011 to 2013.
Tia's voice work extended to the animated series "Bratz" (2005–2006), while her acting career flourished in various roles. She portrayed Melanie Barnett in the comedy-drama "The Game" (2006–2015), Stephanie Phillips in "Instant Mom" (2013–2015), and Cocoa McKellan in "Family Reunion" (2019–2022).
In addition to her television successes, Mowry appeared in notable films including the teen comedy "The Hot Chick" (2002), the musical "The Mistle-Tones" (2012), the romantic comedy "Baggage Claim" (2013), and the drama "Indivisible" (2018). In the early 1990s, she and Tamera also showcased their musical talents as part of the singing group Voices, releasing their debut single "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" in 1992, which reached No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100.
