Glen Chin
Glen Chin (January 27, 1948 – August 16, 2018) was a talented American actor with Chinese heritage, known for his versatile roles in both film and television. Born and raised in Stockton, California, Chin was actively involved in drama and choir during his time at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School. He later pursued music at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, showcasing his musical talent as a double bass player with the Stockton Symphony.
Chin's film career included notable appearances in the romantic comedy *50 First Dates*, where he portrayed a comedic character in a Hawaiian café, and in the 1987 film *The Underachievers*. He also featured in *After One Cigarette* as Shigeru and made a mark in Chinese cinema with his role in *Hollywood Hong Kong*. His television credits are diverse, including guest appearances in popular series such as *Boy Meets World*, *Night Stand with Dick Dietrick*, *Mighty Max*, and *Seinfeld*, where he played Harry Fong in the memorable opera episode.
In addition to his acting, Chin featured in Michael Jackson's iconic music video for "Black or White," where he famously morphed into supermodel Tyra Banks.
