Angela Zhang

Angela Zhang, known in Mandarin as 張韶涵 and born on January 19, 1982, is a multi-talented Taiwanese-Canadian singer and actress. She first captured audience attention through her roles in popular Taiwanese dramas such as My MVP Valentine (2002) and At Dolphin Bay (2003).

Her music career took off in 2004 with the release of her debut album, Over the Rainbow, which quickly became a commercial success. Following this, she released several other acclaimed albums, including Aurora (2004) and Pandora (2006), solidifying her status in the Mandopop scene. In addition to her musical endeavors, Angela starred in the successful drama Romantic Princess (2007), further showcasing her diverse talents.

However, her career faced significant challenges in 2008 due to a highly publicized dispute with her family and issues with her record label, Linfair Records. This tumultuous period led to a hiatus from the spotlight. Angela made a remarkable comeback in 2018 by participating in the Hunan TV reality series Singer, where she served as both a contestant and a host.
