Jonathan Tiersten

Jonathan Tiersten, born on August 11, 1965, is an accomplished American actor and musician, widely recognized for his iconic portrayal of Ricky Thomas in the 1983 cult horror film, *Sleepaway Camp*. He returned to this beloved character in the 2008 sequel, *Return to Sleepaway Camp*, further cementing his legacy in the genre.

In addition to his acting career, Tiersten has made significant strides in music. He has led several bands in the Fort Collins, Colorado area and currently fronts his own group, Ten Tiers. His musical talents extend to composing, having created the score for a short film featuring David Krumholtz, known for his role in the series *Numb3rs*. In 2012, Tiersten showcased his versatility by playing a serial killer named John Doesy in the horror-thriller *The Perfect House*, where he also wrote the theme song and contributed to the film's soundtrack.
