Jane Watson

Jane Watson is a versatile actress, writer, and entrepreneur renowned for her contributions to both stage and screen. Her journey in the performing arts began in elementary school, where she first discovered her love for acting. This passion propelled her to pursue extensive training, making her one of the pioneering teenagers to attend the Centre in the Square Summer School for the Performing Arts. After earning her undergraduate degree in Theatre from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree from Binghamton University in New York, Jane returned to the Centre to teach and direct, embodying her belief in lifelong learning.

Jane remains committed to honing her craft, recently completing intensive acting workshops with Matthew Harrison and the Actor's Foundry in Vancouver. Her film credits include a notable role in the blockbuster hit "Pacific Rim," directed by Guillermo del Toro. On stage, Jane's performances are diverse; she was last seen at the Fergus Grand Theatre in "Murder by Natural Causes" and is set to star in "Peter Pan" later this fall. Additionally, she will appear in "Asphalt Jungle Shorts: The DecaDance" during the Impact 2013 Festival and has several short films, including "Crystal Aggregate," lined up for production this autumn.
