Lucia Micarelli
Lucia Micarelli, born in Queens, New York, to a Korean mother and an Italian-American father, has been an artistic prodigy from a young age. By just three years old, she was deeply engaged in the performing arts, mastering dance, piano, and the violin. At the age of five, her family relocated to Hawaii, where she made her solo debut with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, showcasing her remarkable talent early on.
In 1994, she returned to New York after earning admission to the esteemed Juilliard School of Music, where she honed her violin skills over the next seven years. Post-graduation, Lucia embarked on a successful career that saw her collaborate with renowned artists. She gained acclaim for her captivating performances with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and has toured with iconic groups such as Jethro Tull and Josh Groban, contributing to his "Closer" and "Awake" tours. Most recently, she has been associated with the acclaimed trumpeter Chris Botti.
In addition to her musical achievements, Lucia made a significant foray into acting in 2010, taking on the role of "Annie" in the HBO series "Treme," a critically lauded project from creators David Simon and Eric Overmyer.
