Scott Schiaffo, hailing from Passaic, New Jersey, has made a significant mark in the realm of independent film, most notably recognized as the iconic "Chewlies Gum Guy" from Kevin Smith's 1994 cult classic "Clerks." His multifaceted career spans both acting and music, showcasing his talents on guitar, keyboards, bass, and harmonica.
Since his memorable appearance in "Clerks," Schiaffo has graced a variety of feature films and shorts. His credits include performances alongside notable actors such as Michael DeLorenzo in "The Garden State," Selma Blair in "The Broccoli Theory," and Ethan Suplee in the controversial "Vulgar," a film that has garnered its own cult following.
In addition to his supporting roles, Schiaffo took on the lead role of Mike Tobin in Tom Zanca's crime thriller "Linger," which received acclaim at multiple film festivals.
