Daz Dillinger

Delmar Drew Arnaud, widely recognized as Daz Dillinger, was born on May 25, 1973. He is a prominent American rapper and record producer who significantly shaped the West Coast hip hop and gangsta rap scenes during the early 1990s as part of Death Row Records. Daz, initially known as Dat Nigga Daz, became a key figure in bringing these genres into the mainstream.

In 1992, he teamed up with Kurupt to create the influential hip hop duo Tha Dogg Pound, which has since released eight successful albums. Daz honed his production skills under the mentorship of Dr. Dre, earning his first notable production credit on Dre's iconic debut solo project, The Chronic (1992). He later contributed to Snoop Dogg's groundbreaking album, Doggystyle (1993), and Tupac Shakur's critically acclaimed All Eyez on Me (1996).

Daz’s solo career kicked off with the release of his debut studio album, Retaliation, Revenge and Get Back (1998), which reached the top ten on the Billboard 200. After leaving Death Row Records, he established his own label, Gangsta Advisory Records, in 2000 and co-founded D.P.G. Recordz with Soopafly. Throughout his career, Daz Dillinger has remained a vital force in hip hop, known for his distinct sound and enduring influence in the music industry.
