Stefano Satta Flores (14 January 1937 – 22 October 1985) was a prominent Italian actor and voice actor, renowned for his contributions to cinema and theater. Hailing from Naples, Italy, he honed his craft at the prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. His acting journey began in amateur theater at the Piccolo Teatro, where he explored classic works, including those of Shakespeare.

Satta Flores made his film debut in 1963 with "The Lizards" (I basilischi), directed by Lina Wertmüller. However, it was not until 1974 that he gained significant recognition with his role in Ettore Scola's acclaimed film "We All Loved Each Other So Much," where he starred alongside celebrated actors such as Vittorio Gassman and Stefania Sandrelli. His filmography includes notable works like "Four Flies on Grey Velvet" (1971), "The Funny Face of the Godfather" (1973), and "Teresa the Thief" (1973). His last film role before his untimely death was in "One Hundred Days in Palermo."

In addition to his on-screen work, Satta Flores was a distinguished voice actor, famously dubbing Han Solo in the Italian versions of the original "Star Wars" trilogy, which helped elevate the status of voice acting in Italy. His voice talents extended to roles in "Alien" and "10," showcasing his versatility.

A passionate advocate for artistic expression and social issues, Satta Flores was also a playwright and the founder of the theater company I compagni di scena. He tragically passed away in Rome in 1985 at the age of 48 due to complications from leukemia treatment. His legacy continues to be celebrated in Italian cinema.
