James Lebrecht
James LeBrecht is a prominent sound designer and mixer, recognized for his impactful contributions to film and theatre, as well as for his advocacy in disability rights. He established Berkeley Sound Artists (BSA), a respected audio post-production company that played a crucial role in the production of several notable films, including the Academy Award®-winning short documentary, *The Blood of Yingzhou District* (2006). LeBrecht's extensive portfolio features acclaimed works such as *The Force*, *Unrest*, *The Waiting Room*, *The Devil and Daniel Johnston*, *Daughter From Danang*, *We Were Here*, *Bang: The Bert Berns Story*, and *Audrie & Daisy*.
Beyond his achievements in sound design, LeBrecht has been a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities since his teenage years when he joined Disabled in Action, a groundbreaking disability rights organization.
