Donald Hugh Henley is an accomplished American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as a founding member of the Eagles. Serving as the drummer and co-lead vocalist for the band from its inception in 1971 until its initial breakup in 1980, Henley has remained the sole constant member throughout the group's history and has resumed his roles during reunions since 1994. His powerful vocals can be heard on numerous Eagles classics, including "Witchy Woman," "Desperado," "Best of My Love," "One of These Nights," "Hotel California," "Life in the Fast Lane," "The Long Run," and "Get Over It."

Following the Eagles’ split in 1980, Henley embarked on a successful solo career, releasing his first album, *I Can't Stand Still*, in 1982.
