J.R. Hartigan, known as Joe, honed his craft in acting, theatre, and screenwriting at Palm Beach State College. There, he showcased his talent in productions such as "Hands Across the Sea," where he played Alley, and "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940," portraying Ken DeLaMaize at the esteemed Eissey Theatre. His stage presence also shone through in his role as Biff Baker in "The 1940's Radio Hour" at the Lake Worth Playhouse.

More recently, Joe took on the challenging role of Beverly Weston in the critically acclaimed play "August: Osage County." In the realm of film, he will soon be seen as Mr. Price in "Festival of Trees," and has taken on significant roles as Albert in "Blood Thirst" and Mallory in "Eclipse on Blood Mountain." His international experience includes a memorable performance as Cpl. Rat Cunningham in the Italian film "Bye Bye Viet Nam," credited as Hofigan Jr.

In addition to his stage and film work, Joe has appeared in numerous commercials and industrial films. He has also made a name for himself in audiobook narration, most notably in "First Watch: Charlie's Secret" by Kathleen Stickney, where he lent his voice to over thirty characters, and in "Joe's Dash: From Million Dollar Drug Busts to Multi-Million Dollar Collections for Las Vegas Casinos" by Linda Ellis.
