Kwan Chiu-Chung
Keith Kwan Chiu-chung (Chinese: 關朝聰, 1959 - September 19, 1995), affectionately known as "Gwai Chai" (鬼仔), was a notable bilingual actor hailing from Hong Kong. His career took off when he joined TVB in 1984, where he quickly became a recognized figure in the entertainment industry. Kwan was particularly well-regarded for his role as a program host on the Pearl Channel and made numerous guest appearances in various TVB dramas and films, showcasing his versatility in both hosting and acting.
In the early 1990s, Kwan made a significant life change by moving to Canada, where he continued his journey in the arts. Despite his growing career, his life took a tragic turn when he was diagnosed with cancer, which was ultimately linked to AIDS. Kwan Chiu-chung passed away on September 19, 1995, in Vancouver, Canada, at the young age of 36.
Throughout his career, Kwan left a lasting impact on his audience with his charm and talent, earning him a devoted fan base.
