Joey Smack

Joseph Miller, known professionally as Joey Smack, was born on April 26, 1978, in Binghamton, New York, to parents Mark Miller and Patricia Ann Ritchie. He grew up alongside his brother, Joshua Miller, who tragically passed away in 1998. Joey pursued higher education at William Paterson University, where he earned a degree in communications in 2003. Following his undergraduate studies, he was accepted into the prestigious American Film Institute, a testament to his passion for filmmaking.

Throughout his career, Joey Smack made a significant mark in the world of cinema, primarily as a cinematographer and actor. He was also known for his collaboration with Factory 2000, a creative collective that included notable figures such as William Hellfire, Erin Brown (Misty Mundae), and Lilly Tiger. This partnership allowed him to explore various artistic avenues and leave a lasting impact on the indie film scene.

Tragically, Joey's life was cut short when he passed away on June 29, 2019. His untimely death occurred shortly after he became engaged to his fiancée, Christina Villalobos, a moment that filled him with joy.
