Richard Bremmer

Richard Bremmer, born on January 27, 1953, is a talented English actor hailing from Warwickshire. He embarked on his acting journey with a role in the short film Couples and Robbers before making his feature film debut in The Girl with Brains in Her Feet. Bremmer is notably recognized for being the first actor to embody Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, appearing in a pivotal flashback scene where the dark wizard arrives at the home of Harry's parents. Although his face is not visible, his portrayal laid the groundwork for the character in future films, where CGI and Ian Hart's voice brought Voldemort to life.

His filmography includes roles in The 13th Warrior as Skeld and the 2004 adaptation of Hervé Bazin's novel, Viper in the Fist.
