Kirsten Nelson
Kirsten Nelson, born on October 3, 1970, is a talented American actress and director. Originally from Oklahoma, she grew up in Chicago where she developed her passion for the performing arts. Nelson pursued her education at Northwestern University and became a founding member of the Roadworks Theatre Ensemble in Chicago before relocating to Los Angeles to advance her career.
She is best known for her role as Chief Karen Vick on the USA Network dramedy Psych, where her character ascended to Chief of Police in Santa Barbara starting in Season 2. Throughout her career, Nelson has appeared in a variety of notable television shows and films, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The O'Keefes (portraying Ellie O’Keefe), Baby's Day Out, The Fugitive, Frasier, Ally McBeal, The West Wing, Just Shoot Me!, and Boy Meets World.
In addition to her acting achievements, Nelson is recognized for her commitment to her faith as a Lutheran. With a diverse body of work and a strong stage presence, she continues to make significant contributions to the entertainment industry.
