Ryan Paevey

Ryan Paevey was born in Torrance, California, and spent his formative years in Los Angeles, where he was raised by parents Les Vlieger and Linda Paevey. He shares a close bond with his younger sister, Kaitlyn. During his high school years, Paevey was an active participant in track and cross country. His interests include video gaming, surfing—which he enjoyed with his father during his childhood—and cooking, with sushi being his favorite cuisine. He possesses conversational skills in both French and Japanese and is able to read Japanese as well. On his father's side, Paevey has Dutch and Indonesian heritage, and he considers himself a "nature boy." He has also experienced life in Harlem for a brief period.

Although entering the entertainment field wasn't his initial plan, Paevey was discovered for modeling while still in high school, which eventually steered him toward commercial acting. Prior to his career in the spotlight, he gained hands-on experience working in construction alongside his father and as a bartender. Initially hesitant about pursuing modeling, he eventually embraced the opportunity, leading to his entry into the world of acting.
