Thomas N. "Tom" Hill (June 2, 1927 – April 20, 2009) was an Indian-American actor and director whose career spanned several decades, primarily on stage before making his transition to film in the mid-1960s and later to television in the 1980s. Born in India in 1927, Hill became well-known for his role as Jim Dixon on the popular 1980s television series Newhart. He also portrayed King Baaldorf in the short-lived series Wizards and Warriors during the same decade.

In addition to these roles, his filmography includes notable appearances in television movies, such as Father Andrew Doyle in the 1984 NBC miniseries V: The Final Battle. Hill's versatility allowed him to guest star on a variety of acclaimed shows, including St. Elsewhere, Remington Steele, The Facts of Life, Married... with Children, Coach, and Law & Order.

His film debut occurred in the 1965 movie The Slender Thread, and he went on to appear in notable films such as The Postman Always Rings Twice and Firefox (1982). One of his most recognized roles was that of Mr. Coriander, the bookstore owner, in The NeverEnding Story and its 1990 sequel. Hill passed away on April 20, 2009, at the age of 81 in Bloomington, Indiana.
