Val Kilmer
Val Edward Kilmer (December 31, 1959 – April 1, 2025) was a renowned American actor whose career began on stage before he transitioned to film. He rose to fame in the mid-1980s with memorable performances in comedic hits like Top Secret! (1984) and the cult favorite Real Genius (1985), as well as notable action films such as Top Gun and the fantasy adventure Willow.
During the 1990s, Kilmer earned critical acclaim alongside his commercial success, portraying iconic characters such as Jim Morrison in The Doors, Doc Holliday in Tombstone (1993), Batman in Batman Forever (1995), Chris Shiherlis in Heat (1995), and Simon Templar in The Saint (1997). In the early 2000s, he continued to impress audiences with roles in films like The Salton Sea, Spartan, and notable supporting parts in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Alexander, and as the voice of KITT in Knight Rider.
