Herbert Nordrum

Herbert Nordrum, born in 1987, is a prominent Norwegian actor known for his compelling performances across film and television. He honed his craft at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre between 2008 and 2011, laying the foundation for a successful career in the performing arts.

Nordrum's talent was first recognized when he received the Kanon Award in 2013 for Best Supporting Role for his portrayal of "Karl" in the film *Pornopung*. His impressive range continued to shine as he won the Amanda Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for the same role. He took on a leading role in the 2018 television series *Match*, showcasing his versatility as an actor. In 2020, he starred as Poppe in the comedy film *Fjols til fjells*, earning him a nomination for the Amanda Award for Best Male Actor.

His career reached new heights with his participation in Joachim Trier's acclaimed film *The Worst Person in the World*, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival on July 9, 2021. For this performance, he received another Amanda Award nomination in 2022 for Best Supporting Actor. Further solidifying his reputation, he won the Guldbaggen for Best Male Lead in 2024 for his role in *Hypnosis*.
