Cara Pifko, born on March 15, 1976, in Toronto, Ontario, is a talented Canadian actress celebrated for her significant contributions to television, especially in productions by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

Pifko's journey in the performing arts began at the tender age of 8, and she honed her craft at the National Theatre School of Canada. She enjoyed a steady acting career throughout the 1990s, but it was her breakthrough role in the 2000 series *Our Hero*—targeted at a young audience—that truly brought her into the spotlight. Notably, she made her debut in *The Elephant Show*, a cherished children's program featuring Sharon, Lois, and Bram, where she appeared during all seasons.

Her portrayal of a foreign aid worker in the acclaimed mini-series *Human Cargo* in 2004 showcased her dramatic capabilities. This performance led to her starring role in the legal drama *This is Wonderland*, for which she won a Gemini Award for Best Actress in 2005.
