Mayuko Iwasa is a former Japanese actress and entertainer, hailing from Tokyo. She began her career with Platinum Productions and gained prominence through her performances in notable works such as "Galcir" and "Deep Love."

Iwasa's journey in the entertainment industry began when she was discovered in Shibuya in 2003. At just 16 years old, she earned the title of "Miss Magazine 2003," marking the start of her career. Initially thriving as a gravure model, she garnered significant popularity during this phase.

Her acting career took off with her role in the television series "Deep Love" in 2004, which further solidified her status in the industry. That same year, she was honored with the prestigious 42nd Golden Arrow Graph Award, recognizing her achievements as a gravure model. In 2014, Iwasa received accolades for her acting skills, winning the Emerging Actress award at the 23rd Japanese Professional Movie Awards for her compelling performance in "Passion (Junan)."

On October 1, 2020, Iwasa announced her retirement from the entertainment field via her Instagram account. Shortly after her departure, she expressed her intention to pursue a career as a long-term care worker, indicating her commitment to making a difference in people's lives post-retirement.
