Iwasa's journey in the entertainment industry began when she was discovered in Shibuya in 2003. At just 16 years old, she earned the title of "Miss Magazine 2003," marking the start of her career. Initially thriving as a gravure model, she garnered significant popularity during this phase.
Her acting career took off with her role in the television series "Deep Love" in 2004, which further solidified her status in the industry. That same year, she was honored with the prestigious 42nd Golden Arrow Graph Award, recognizing her achievements as a gravure model.
