Luis Mario Quiroz

Luis Mario Quiroz Acosta is a distinguished Mexican actor renowned for his work in film, television, and theater. Born into a family with a rich artistic lineage, he is the son of Enrique Quiroz Acosta and Teresa Acosta de Quiroz. His brother, Gerardo Quiroz, is also a prominent figure in the entertainment industry as an actor, broadcaster, and producer.

Quiroz embarked on his acting journey at a young age, and one of his significant early achievements came in 1988 when he was honored with the Ariel Award for his compelling portrayal of Carlos in Alberto Isaac's film, *Mariana, Mariana*.

In addition to his acting accolades, Quiroz had a promising childhood in sports, particularly soccer, where he played as a winger for Pumitas from the age of eight until he turned sixteen. His family's athletic background includes his grandfather, Francisco Quiroz Acosta, who played for Atlas, and his brother Alfonso, who represented Pumas.

Luis is perhaps best known for his memorable role as Cesarín in the popular television series *Papá single*, where he starred alongside notable figures such as singer César Costa, actress and singer Edith Márquez, and his brother Gerardo.
