Luis Mario Quiroz Acosta is a distinguished Mexican actor renowned for his work in film, television, and theater. Born into a family with a rich artistic lineage, he is the son of Enrique Quiroz Acosta and Teresa Acosta de Quiroz. His brother, Gerardo Quiroz, is also a prominent figure in the entertainment industry as an actor, broadcaster, and producer.

Quiroz embarked on his acting journey at a young age, and one of his significant early achievements came in 1988 when he was honored with the Ariel Award for his compelling portrayal of Carlos in Alberto Isaac's film, *Mariana, Mariana*.
