Nicolas Van Beveren, born on August 31, 1982, is a French actor and director celebrated for his role as Jon in the 2016 sci-fi feature, Virtual Revolution. His unique background, with a Seychellois mother and a Belgian father, shaped his diverse perspective on storytelling.

Originally from Machabée on the island of Mahé in Seychelles, Van Beveren relocated to France at the age of six. It was in France that he nurtured his passion for acting, leading to his professional debut in 2007 when he auditioned for a role in a television series on M6. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of television productions and films, while also directing four short films that showcase his artistic vision. Influenced by cinematic legends such as Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, and Denzel Washington, Van Beveren's work reflects a deep respect for the craft of filmmaking. In addition to his acting, he was featured in a promotional campaign for Axe in 2015.

Nicolas received his education at several institutions, including Notre Dame private school in Poissy and collège Saint-Stanislas in Osny, before completing his baccalaureate at Martin Luther King high school in Bussy-Saint-Georges. He further honed his skills at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Noisiel from 1998 to 2000, laying a strong foundation for his burgeoning career in the performing arts.
