Lee Se-young
Lee Se-young is a prominent South Korean actress represented by Prain TPC, who launched her career in the entertainment industry as a child performer. She gained early recognition through her roles in popular series and films such as "Jewel in the Palace" (2003), "When I Turned Nine" (2004), "Lovely Rivals" (2004), and "The Wonder Years" (2007).
Her breakthrough came in 2016 with the family-oriented drama "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop," where her impressive performance earned her the "Best New Actress" accolade at the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards. Alongside her co-star Hyun Woo, she became affectionately known as the “Achoo Couple” among fans.
In 2017, Lee took on her first leading role in KBS2's youth drama "Hit the Top," and showcased her versatility in the fantasy romantic comedy "A Korean Odyssey," created by the renowned Hong sisters, where she portrayed three distinct characters.
Lee's career continued to flourish in 2019 with her portrayal of Queen Yoo So-woon in the tvN historical drama "The Crowned Clown," adapted from the film "Masquerade." That same year, she also appeared in the horror film "Lingering" and the medical drama "Doctor John."
In 2020, she starred as a brilliant profiler in the mystery thriller "Memorist" and reunited with Shin Sung-rok for the MBC drama "Kairos." Her talent was recognized at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards, where she secured the Top Excellence Actress award for her role in "The Red Sleeve" and shared the "Best Couple" award with Lee Jun Ho. In 2022, she made a cameo in "Seoul Vibe" and featured as lawyer Kim Yu-ri in the romantic comedy "The Law Cafe," reuniting with her "A Korean Odyssey" co-star Lee Seung
