Wendy Meredith

Wendy Meredith is an emerging talent in the entertainment industry, recently landed the role of Kyra in an upcoming comedy film directed by Jamie Babbit, featuring Drew Barrymore and Michale Zegen, which is set to be filmed in New York.

Her Hollywood debut was in the film *Corporate Animals*, where she portrayed Victoria alongside stars like Demi Moore, Ed Helms, Jessica Williams, and Karan Soni. This film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Wendy also showcased her comedic talent by starring as Charlotte in the sold-out play *Old Frenemies* at the Stephanie Feury Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Viewers can access reviews and performance footage online.

Originally from the picturesque Gwent Valley in Wales, Wendy has spent over a decade in the United States before relocating to London. She honed her craft at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, immersing herself in the local theater scene with notable performances in works by Caryl Churchill and Mike Leigh, as well as classics like *A Midsummer Night's Dream* and *Much Ado About Nothing* with the San Francisco Shakespeare Company. Wendy was also an active member of the comedy improvisation group Bay Area Theater Sports.

After moving to New York, she continued her artistic development at HB Studio under Uta Hagen and pursued screenwriting at NYU. Her New York credits include off-off-Broadway productions, stand-up comedy, and a role in the long-running soap opera *As The World Turns*. Since returning to London, Wendy has appeared in BBC 1’s *The Old Guys*, the BAFTA-winning series *Peep Show*, and Danny Boyle’s comedy drama about the Metropolitan Police, along with various independent films and commercials.
