Michelle Fairley

Michelle Fairley, born on July 11, 1963, is a talented actress hailing from Northern Ireland, renowned for her portrayal of Catelyn Stark in HBO's acclaimed series Game of Thrones, which aired from 2011 to 2013. Her diverse career includes notable roles in various television series such as Suits (2013), where she portrayed Dr. Ava Hessington, and Fox's 24: Live Another Day (2014) as Margot Al-Harazi. She also featured in the RTÉ miniseries Rebellion (2016) and the science fiction series The Feed (2019), showcasing her versatility.

Raised in Coleraine as the second of six children in a family where her father, Brian Fairley, owned Fairley's Bar, she recalls a community where both Catholics and Protestants mingled, a reflection of her upbringing during a tumultuous period in Northern Ireland.
