**Laura Huertas Millán** is a prominent filmmaker and visual artist of French-Colombian descent, whose work uniquely merges cinema, contemporary art, and scholarly research. Recognized for her innovative storytelling, Huertas Millán's films have been featured at prestigious film festivals worldwide, including the Berlinale, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Rotterdam International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and Cinéma du Réel. Her artistic vision has been celebrated through over twenty retrospectives and exhibitions globally, hosted in esteemed venues such as TIFF Lightbox in Toronto, Harvard Film Archive, and Bogotá's cinematheque.
