Lü Yulai

Lü Yulai is a prominent actor, director, and showrunner hailing from Mainland China. Born on April 8, 1982, in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, he pursued his passion for the performing arts by studying Drama and Literature at the Central Academy of Drama, followed by a degree in Directing from the prestigious Beijing Film Academy.

Lü made an impactful entrance into the film industry with his role in the debut film "Peacock," which earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Chinese Media Film Awards. His talent continued to shine, and in 2006, he received another nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 7th Chinese Film Media Awards for his performance in "The Courthouse on Horseback."

In 2009, Lü gained international recognition, winning the Emerging Actor award at the 4th Chinese Forum and the Best Actor award at the Madrid Film Festival for his role in "Soundless Wind Chimes."
