She pursued her passion for the performing arts by obtaining a degree in theater and voice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 1998, she relocated to Los Angeles to embark on a career in film and television.
Davies showcased her versatility as an actress in 2001, appearing in five feature films, including the action-thriller *They Crawl* and the sci-fi adventure *Scorcher* (2002), where she shared the screen with renowned actors John Rhys-Davies and Rutger Hauer.
