Stacey Turner hails from Atlanta, Georgia, where she was born to Peggy, a dedicated real estate broker, and Jerry Turner, an employee with the U.S. Department of Education. She pursued a degree at Georgia State University and spent six years traveling across the United States, honing her skills in television news. Her journey culminated in Atlanta, where she became the morning reporter for CBS46's Good Morning Atlanta. During her time in journalism, Stacey received significant accolades, including an Emmy nomination and two Green Eyeshade Awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, alongside being recognized as a beloved television personality by a local Texas publication.
Stacey's performing arts journey began at the tender age of six with a church play. Growing up on the outskirts of Atlanta, she felt far removed from the glitz of Hollywood. However, her passion for acting was reignited while performing in a play during her stint as a reporter in Savannah.
