Nicolas Moreau

Nicolas Moreau, born on June 28, 1969, is a distinguished French actor and theater director known for his versatile performances across film and television. Moreau made a striking entry into the acting world in 1995, portraying multiple characters in a variety of productions. Notable roles during this breakout year included Marc, the son of Claude Jade and Georges Claisse, in Jacques Richard's television film *Porté disparu*, and as Andreï in the adaptation of Eduard von Keyserling's novel *Étè Brûlant*, alongside Claude Rich and Hélène de Fougerolles. He also appeared in Denys de La Patellière's final film, *Maigret et l'affaire Saint-Fiacre*, and took on the role of Luc Béraud in *Pasteur, cinq années de rage*, featuring Bernard Fresson.

Following a series of television projects, Moreau gained acclaim for his portrayal of Émile Bernard in Roger Planchon's *Lautrec*. His television repertoire expanded with roles in *Le Bois du Pardoux* (2000) and Thierry Chabert's *Des jours et des nuits* (2005).
