Justine Stafford
Justine Stafford is a prominent Irish comedian, writer, podcaster, and television presenter, known for her engaging humor and creative storytelling. Her journey began at Kilbeg National School, where she participated in a FÃs Film project, earning a national accolade in Dublin. At just 11 years old, she received a camcorder for Christmas, which sparked her passion for filmmaking. By the age of 13, Stafford had already clinched an award at Ireland’s Youth Film Festival, Fresh Films, in Limerick, and went on to represent Ireland with her winning short film at an international youth festival in South Korea.
After completing her studies in film and broadcasting at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Stafford honed her skills at FM104 and spent five years as a senior social creative at JOE.ie. Her unique comedic voice flourished on social media, where she gained a following for her innovative Halloween costumes and satirical takes on popular culture.
In 2019, she reached the finals of Irish TV's Stand Up And Be Funny competition. Stafford co-hosted the food game show Battle of the Food Trucks alongside Gary Patrice on RTE Player in 2021, which was successfully renewed for a second season in 2022. Additionally, she appeared in the film Poster Boys and showcased her talent in the RTÉ 2 series No Worries If Not!, aimed at highlighting emerging comedic talent. Stafford also featured in the comedy series Darren & Joe's Free Gaff across both of its seasons in 2021 and 2022.
