Sebastian Ingrosso
Sebastian Ingrosso, born Sebastian Carmine Ingrosso on April 20, 1983, is a renowned Swedish DJ and music producer of Italian heritage. Though his roots trace back to Grahamstown, South Africa, he grew up in Solna, Sweden, where he honed his musical talents in his father's studio during his teenage years. Ingrosso made his debut in the music industry with an official remix released through Mega Records in 1999.
As the head of A&R for his own label, Refune, he has been instrumental in developing the careers of numerous artists, including AN21, Max Vangeli, Style of Eye, and Alesso. In 2010, his skill and influence earned him the #16 spot on DJ Mag's prestigious Top 100 DJ list, and in 2009, he was celebrated for achieving the highest new entry on the chart, a record only surpassed by Deadmau5 the previous year.
Ingrosso is also widely recognized as a member of the iconic DJ trio Swedish House Mafia, alongside his close friends Axwell and Steve Angello, which has left a lasting impact on the electronic dance music scene. A lifelong admirer of Michael Jackson, Ingrosso has often cited the King of Pop as his greatest inspiration, even paying tribute to him during his performance at Sensation White.
