Cesar Millan

Cesar Millan, born César Millán Favela on August 27, 1969, is a prominent Mexican-American dog trainer renowned for his impactful television series, *The Dog Whisperer*, which has aired for seven seasons and reached audiences in over eighty countries. Millan is celebrated for his expertise in rehabilitating aggressive dogs and established the Dog Psychology Center in South Los Angeles, operational from 2002 to 2008, with plans for a new location announced in late 2009.

In addition to his television success, Millan is a prolific author; his first three books, including the acclaimed *Cesar's Way*, have collectively sold more than two million copies in the United States alone and have been translated into 14 languages. In 2009, he partnered with IMG to launch a monthly publication titled *Cesar's Way*, gaining recognition from the Wall Street Journal, which noted that half of American consumers were familiar with him.

Together with his then-wife, Ilusión Millan, he founded the Millan Foundation, dedicated to promoting animal welfare. Millan is also collaborating with Yale University to develop a children's educational curriculum inspired by his methods. His remarkable achievements are often attributed to his unique sense of balance, described by *The New York Times* as an "über-balanced mien," which has been key to his success in both dog training and business ventures.
