Amelda Brown is a distinguished British actress recognized for her contributions to stage, film, and television. She honed her craft at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1980, and quickly gained acclaim in fringe theatre productions.

Brown has taken on prominent roles in the world premieres of Caryl Churchill's plays, including Fen in 1983 and A Mouthful of Birds in 1986.
