Jay Park
Jay Park, born on April 25, 1987, as Park Jae-beom (박재범), is a dynamic American rapper, singer-songwriter, and dancer who has made significant waves in the South Korean music industry. Originally hailing from Seattle, Park is an esteemed member of the b-boy collective Art of Movement (AOM). He is also the visionary founder and former CEO of prominent independent hip hop labels AOMG and H1ghr Music, and he established the record label More Vision to further develop his artistic endeavors.
In June 2010, Park returned to South Korea to film the movie Hype Nation, which marked the beginning of his new chapter in the entertainment industry. By July of the same year, he had signed with SidusHQ, one of South Korea's largest entertainment firms. This move led to a rebranding and a successful solo debut, allowing him to explore his musical identity further. Park has become a significant figure in the underground hip hop scene of South Korea, a path less traveled by many K-Pop idols.
