Ljubov Agapova

Ljubov Agapova, born on May 24, 1956, in Chekhov, Sakhalin Oblast, is a prominent Estonian actress renowned for her compelling role as Lilja's Mother in the acclaimed film "Lilja 4-ever."

Agapova completed her secondary education at the Chekhov 2nd Secondary School in 1973, later earning her degree from the Pedagogical Institute of Fine Arts of the Far East in 1977. Her career in acting began at the Drama Theater of the Baltic Fleet in Liepāja, where she showcased her talents from 1977 to 1983. Following this, she continued to refine her craft at the Kaliningrad Drama Theater until 1985.

In 1985, Agapova transitioned to the Russian Theater, where she has been an integral part of the ensemble ever since. Throughout her career, she has delivered powerful performances that resonate with audiences and critics alike, solidifying her status as a respected figure in the performing arts. Her portrayal in "Lilja 4-ever" is particularly notable, earning her recognition on both national and international platforms.
