Melissa Rivers
Melissa Rivers, born Melissa Warburg Rosenberg on January 20, 1968, is a multifaceted American actress, television personality, and producer. She is the daughter of the iconic Joan Rivers and Edgar Rosenberg. Melissa has showcased her acting prowess in various television series, including notable appearances in "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Silk Stalkings," and "The Comeback." In 1998, she starred in the sci-fi comedy film "Men in White," and in 1999, she featured in "The Big Tease," a comedy directed by Kevin Allen, alongside Craig Ferguson.
Her collaboration with her mother is perhaps most memorable in the 1994 docudrama, "Tears and Laughter: The Joan and Melissa Rivers Story," where they portrayed their real-life relationship. In the early '90s, Melissa ventured into red carpet coverage, interviewing celebrities during major award shows. She hosted several successful specials for the E! Network, including "Oh Baby! Melissa’s Guide to Pregnancy" and "Oh Toddler! Surviving the Early Years," both of which garnered high ratings.
In 2003, Melissa and Joan transitioned from E! to the TV Guide Channel, securing a lucrative deal estimated between $6 and $8 million. Additionally, in 2002, she participated in the ABC reality show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" and has made guest appearances on various web shows, including "Tom Green's House Tonight." In 2013, she co-created and co-produced the YouTube series "In Bed With Joan," where her mother interviewed celebrities on personal topics, with Melissa facilitating the discussions.
