Olivia Chenery
Olivia Jane Grierson (born Chenery on March 11, 1989) is a talented English actress and passionate environmental advocate. She has made notable contributions to both film and television, with significant roles in works such as the films Brotherhood (2016) and 10x10 (2018). On the small screen, she gained recognition for her performances in the BBC series Queens: The Virgin and the Martyr (2017) and the Sky One police drama Bulletproof (2020–2021).
Raised in Croydon, South London, Olivia is the daughter of Emma and Julian and has two sisters. Her journey into acting began with the National Youth Theatre, followed by her graduation from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2010.
Her career took off with a role as a Plantagenet Princess in the 2013 HBO and BBC Two comedy Family Tree, leading to her feature film debut as Sandy in the 2014 sci-fi thriller The Anomaly. She showcased her versatility with roles in the 2015 film Legacy and as a witch in the acclaimed horror series Penny Dreadful.
In addition to her leading roles in Brotherhood and 10x10, she portrayed Mary, Queen of Scots in the historical drama Queens. In 2020, she joined Bulletproof as Scarlett "Scooch" Hailton and appeared in the Netflix series The One in 2021. More recently, she starred in Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher and Jericho Ridge. In 2023, under her married name Olivia Grierson, she made a bid to represent Oxted South for the Green Party in the local elections.
