**Biography of Sonia Deepti**

Sonia Deepti, hailing from Hyderabad, Telangana, began her journey in the world of technology, earning a degree in computer applications. She initially worked as a software engineer for three years before her passion for acting drew her into the entertainment industry. Her big break came when filmmaker Sekhar Kammula discovered her talent at an event, leading to an audition that secured her a role in his 2007 Telugu film, *Happy Days*. Sonia portrayed the character Shravs, and the film quickly became a blockbuster, garnering six accolades at the 2008 Filmfare Awards South, including the prestigious Best Supporting Actress award for Sonia, which marked her as a promising talent in Indian cinema.

In late 2008, she starred in *Vinayakudu*, alongside Krishnudu, her co-star from *Happy Days*, which also achieved commercial success. Her talent soon attracted attention from the Tamil film industry, and in 2010, she made her Tamil debut in the romantic-action film *Paiyaa*, directed by N. Lingusamy.
